The Institute performs both fundamental and applied research in the following areas:]
- the study of reaction mechanisms of organic compounds, molecular rearrangements, structure and properties of compounds and active intermediates, including quantum chemistry methods;
- methods of synthesis of aromatic, fluoroaromatic, heterocyclic and heteroaromatic compounds including stable radicals, polymers, monomers;
- development of spectral-analytical methods for determination of structure of organic compounds and the environment; synthesis and study of properties of organic and polymer materials. Development of scientific bases technologies to produce practically important substances and preparations;
- technology of extraction methods, chemical nature, reactivity and biological activity of plant metabolites. Target synthetic transformation, study of the pharmacological properties and of the mechanism of biologically active agents action.
