It is impossible to imagine the modern world without products of chemical industry: medications, makeup, clothes, fuel, food, coatings, and many other things have been and are being manufactured due to the chemical reactions that have been once discovered and investigated.

The researchers working at the N.N. Vorozhtsov Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have made a large number of discoveries and conducted the research that have spurred the development of various areas in fundamental science. The applied developments have been successfully used in industry and agriculture.
